You can become a sponsor of The Hickory Locator if you are an American business with 10 employees

or more. Franchise owners are welcome. And of course my members are very welcomed to support it. 2006 Statistics

A rotating banner ad on the front page is $100 per month or $1000 annually. Only one size and one price for all. No Exception.

The Hickory Locator's Mission: It is a search engine, designed for shoppers and dedicated to small business.

THL started in 2002 as a data base for my personal businesses and included the businesses I did

business with, it included phone numbers, stock items, prices and information I needed quickly to make

decisions with. It was designed for my personal benefit. People I was doing business with caught on and they

were referring other clients to the site for information.

In 2003 I retired and made the site public. My retirement awarded more time to work on the site and expand it.

I also chose to keep the site small and restrict it to small business, I understand the problems of a small

organization and have used the benefits of the internet to strengthen our local economy and will continue to do so.

The Hickory Locator is not an advertising agency because I call it a search engine, however, the front page of 2006 Statistics

THL was viewed 1,105,815 times in 2006

With results like this, I have decided to create a secondary mission. An advertising agency. THL is a creation

intended to locate what a searcher wants and direct that person to walk into your place of business.

But, THL has the tools, knowledge and ability to connect globally, directly with giants like Google, Yahoo, MSN, eBay,

My Space, U Tube, CNN, Gannett, Charlotte Observer and so on.

Please note; The Hickory Daily Record

will not let me run ads with them because I am their competitor and that is their policy. But I don't need them.

I can place an ad on their website with Ad On-air or Yahoo a lot cheaper than I can place an ad with them directly.

In my opinion our local newspaper is really lacking when it comes to supporting our small business community.

That is where you come in as a sponsor, What will you get out of it?

1. If I do nothing THL will grow, and exceed a million hits in 07. Word of mouth is how.

2. If you will review the stats for 06 you will see that I only had one minor advertising campaign for THL. 2006 Statistics

3. Sponsorship will supply the money for substantial growth potential.

4. A message of your support and a direct link to your website on the front page of THL with an invitation

for 1,000s of local walk in customers. Plus by doing so you will enhance your image as being supporter of local business.

5. Every member of THL is successful and we tend to buy from our supporters.

6. Did your web site get a million hits last year? It should be obvious to you that I know how to achieve this for you.

My site is not more important than yours, I just know how to get things done on the internet.

7. As a sponsor of THL I will give you (free) one hour per month training on how to double your internet hits.

8. Any time THL has an ad on the internet, radio, TV, newspaper, trade journal, bill board, loyal viewers ect. your presence is there.

9. You don't have to have a website to be a sponsor, I'll make you an internet commercial for free. If you do not have a website

I can make you one that gets results, my websites are employees, they produce because I teach them how to work.
