Hugely Successful Virtual “March on Washington” Continues
There’s Still Time to Join Thousands on the National Mall

Congress may be home for the Presidents’ Day recess this week, but the Virtual March on Washington continues!  Over 20,000 contacts have been made with Capitol Hill through this effort, and we’re not going to stop marching until the U.S. House votes on the “Employee Free Choice Act,” probably next week.

The “Employee Free Choice Act” would take away employees’ ability to vote to recognize a union by secret ballot, and replace it with the card check process, where employees are forced to make their choice in front of union organizers and fellow employees who support unionization.  We strenuously oppose this bill and hope that you’ll join the Virtual March on Washington to tell Congress that the decision to join a union should be free from union and employer coercion.

JOIN THE MARCH ALL WEEK!

• Go to www.chambergrassroots.com/mysignup.php

• Call your members of Congress toll-free and ask them to save the secret ballot for union organizing elections.  Dial 1-866-346-VOTE (8683), and enter PIN 47800.
