Do you use Google Analytics for your website? It
is a very useful tool.
Below is a partial report of what I accomplish with The Hickory
Locator, who's mission is to advertise small local owned businesses. The average
time spent on a page is 4.3 minutes, that is way above industry average. FYI the
average is 2 seconds... I can tell what ads are working for us and who
puts effort into their site. I can tell which browser I need to design our sites
for. Yahoo is my best source for search engines! I seem to be using
methods to attract new readers? Am I developing return customers daily? Do I
advertise in the areas you want me to? I do not work well for people on dial-up
and I really need to improve this issue!
I have made some (not much ) improvement with msn search and that little
donation to PET O MINE is paying off. In the near future we will be airing
on charter media's business profiles hosted by April Clark [channel 33 at 8a 1p
& 8p]. However without Google Analytics I (THL) would be like a ship
without a rudder, just meandering around without direction or purpose. Any body
can make a website but getting someone to read it takes gestalt, tenacity and a
whole lot of empathy relating to the struggles of small local owned businesses.
I am one webmaster committed to the latter and that is what makes me THE
COMPETITION!
Below is my weak areas, one thing is very obvious, I need to advertise
your business, and if you will chip in a few dollars like those sponsors of
the front page on THL, then I will create the ads and do the work for you.
And analyze our results, that is what I am all about ~RESULTS~

because there were 2,022 page views
and they spent an average of 4.5 min
on ea site.
